Mrs. Diane Cooper Applewhite a resident of Bogalusa, LA passed away on Thursday, April 20, 2023, at the age of 81. She was known for her love of shopping at auctions.

Mrs. Diane is survived by her husband, Louis Applewhite of Bogalusa, LA; a son, Brandon Applewhite (Kristi Jenks) of Angie, LA; a stepdaughter, Cindy (Kevin) Doell of Rochester, NY; her granddaughters, Brittany (Blake) Lam of Covington, LA, Ira Applewhite of Henleyfield, MS, Lee (Evelyn) Applewhite of Varnado, LA, Glen (Bethany) Seal of Bogalusa, LA, Candi Applewhite of Sandy Hook, MS, and Emily Doell of Rochester, NY; one grandson, Brayden Applewhite; ten great grandchildren; and daughters in law, Karen Applewhite (Joe Wheat) of Bogalusa, LA and Glenda Applewhite of Henleyfield. She is also survived by a special friend, Keli Ard and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Diane was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Rena Juneau Cooper; her brother, Tracy Jude Cooper; a daughter in law, Kaylee Applewhite; and two stepsons, Robbie and Joey Applewhite.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. and will continue on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, from 9:00 A.M. until time for the services at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Harold Gaddy officiating the service. Interment to follow at Hillview Memorial Gardens.
