Clyde W. Moody, Sr., 96, resident of Bogalusa, LA, passed away on Thursday, October 5, 2023 at St. Tammany Hospital in Covington, LA. He was loving father, husband, grandfather, and friend.  He was a lifelong member of First Pentecostal Church in Bogalusa, LA and was employed at Crown Zellerbach until he retired after 35 years of employment.

Clyde is survived by two children Charlotte (Mike) Fasola and Clyde (Pam) Moody, Jr. of Bogalusa, LA; five grandchildren Angel (Shea) Knight, Blake (Heather) Fasola, Amber Fasola (Jerry) Guillot, Megan Moody (Rayne) Granger, Trey (Kristin) Moody; eight great grandchildren Will Moody, Anthony Moody, Greyson Fasola, Jordan Fasola, Jaden Fasola, Grace Knight, Alyssa Knight, and Chance Granger.

He was preceded in death by his parents Thomas Hez Moody and Letha Ophelia Seal Moody and his wife of 74 years Bertha Mae Moody.

Visitation will be held Monday, October 9, 2023 from 9:30 am until 1:00 pm at First Pentecostal Church of Bogalusa, 14532 LA-21, Bogalusa, LA 70427 at which time the funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm.  Rev. Travis Houston and Rev. Kevin Cox will officiate and interment will follow at Lon Miley Cemetery in Bogalusa, LA.  Pallbearers will be Shea Knight, Blake Fasola, Trey Moody, Jaden Fasola, Raymond Williams, and David Wilson.
