Mr. Charles Raymond Russell a resident of Angie, LA passed away at his residence on Monday, August 14, 2023, at the age of 83.  He was retired after 45 years of service from Crown Zellerbach and Gaylord Box Plant.  He was also a believer in the 7th Day Adventist religion.

Mr. Charles is survived by his children, Charles (Tracy) Russell of Meridian, ID, Crystal (Toney) Corkern of Angie, LA and Randy (Susan) Russell of Boles, AR; his ten grandchildren, Charles Ryan (Lexi) Russell of Meridian, ID, Cameron Russell of Boise, ID, Jessica (Jeremy) Bell of Angie, LA, Jeremy McClendon of Angie, LA, Matthew Corkern of Angie, LA, Mallory Corkern (Cameron Byrd) of Bogalusa, LA, Russell McClendon of Angie, LA, Jesse Russell of Boles, AR, Charles Russell of Boles, AR, and Brandon Russell of Boles, AR; and seven great grandchildren.  He is also survived by other relatives and friends.

Mr. Charles was preceded in death by his wife Eloise Russell; his parents, Jesse and Inez Russell; and one sister, Marion Pierce.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 17, 2023, at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home from 10:00 A.M. until time for the service at 2:00 P.M.   Interment to follow at Russell Cemetery in Angie, LA.
