Charles "Chuck" Robert Purvis Jr., age 76, was born in Bogalusa, LA on December 18, 1948, passed away on September 14, 2025, at Our Lady of The Angels in Bogalusa, LA.

Chuck was preceded in death by his parents Charles Robert Purvis Sr. and Dorothy Jo Leeke Purvis; and a daughter-in-law Myra Cruz Purvis.

Mr. Purvis is survived by one son Benton Purvis of Franklin, TN.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 18, 2025 at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home from 1:00pm until the service time of 2:00pm.  The Rev. Jeff Howard will officiate and interment will follow in Ponemah Cemetery.
