Mr. Charles "Chucky" Corrente, Jr. a resident of Bogalusa, LA passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2023, at the age of 52.  Chucky chose his career as an electrician.  He was an avid fisherman and hunter.  Chucky was a Bogalusa High School graduate and also a member of First Baptist Church of Sun.

Chucky is survived by his mother, Rose Corrente and his brothers, David (Melanie) Heindel, Frank (Mildred) Williams, John (Andrea) Williams, and Jim Williams.  He is also survived by his nephews and nieces, David Wayne Heindel, Dustin Heindel, Chelsea Heindel, Marina Heindel, Zack Heindel, Charmaine Schmermund, Shawn Williams, Katelyn Williams, Evan Williams, Heather Castleberry, and Rebekka Strahan.

Chucky was preceded in death by his father, Charles Corrente, Sr. and one sister, Cammile Corrente.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at First Baptist Church of Sun at 6:00 P.M with Rev. Stan Salassi officiating the services.  In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to First Baptist Church of Sun.
