Celia Joyce Cutrer

January 27, 1956 – September 13, 2025

Celia Joyce Cutrer, a lifelong resident of Bogalusa, Louisiana, passed away Saturday morning surrounded by her loving family at the age of 69. She was a longtime member of Edgewood Missionary Baptist Church of Bogalusa, Louisiana.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 47 years, Edward Cutrer, Jr.; daughter, Candace (Patrick) Stewart of Bogalusa, LA; sons, Shay (Andrea) Wilson of Bogalusa, LA, and Leigh (Bridget Sheridan) Cutrer of Bogalusa, LA; grandchildren, Sage

Cutrer, Wyatt Seal, Ty Cutrer, Rusty Stewart, and Phila Stewart; sister, Sharon Sue "Sissy" (Kelley) Sharpe of Baton Rouge, LA; brothers, David (Sheree) Wascom of Bogalusa, LA, Greg (Patti) Wascom of Bogalusa, LA. Also survived by other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward "Sug" and Edna Wascom; brother, Edward Wascom.

Funeral Services will be held in the Chapel of Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home on Sunday, September 21, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Patrick Magee officiating. Interment to follow in Hillview Memorial Gardens, Bogalusa, LA.

A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday morning from 10:00 A.M. until service time at 2:00 P.M.
