Carolyn Sumrall Barlow was born in Bogalusa, LA on July 13, 1942, passed away in Baton Rouge, LA on June 5, 2026, at the age of 83.

Carolyn Barlow is survived by her daughters Cheri (Tim) Richardson and Dana (Kelly) Russell both of Denham Spring, LA; grandchildren Clint (Michelle) Richardson, Grant Russell, Kendall Russell (Devin Partin), Brock (Callie) Russell, Jacob Russell; great grandchildren Kylie Richardson, Brady Richardson, Kambry Barlow Richardson, Lainey Partin, and Reese Partin; nephew Craig McGinnis; great nieces and nephews Charlene McNabb, Brandt McGinnis,  Bryan Miley, Tal Dupont, Tait Dupont, Trevor Dupont, and Stan Sumrall Jr.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Jack Barlow; her parents Henry and Lozy Sumrall; siblings Elvie Summers, Ray Sumrall, Curtis Sumrall, and Dorothy McGinnis; nieces and nephews Gail Dupont, Stan Sumrall, Heather McGinnis, and Shan Miley; great nieces and nephews Ty Dupont, and Ryan Miley.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home, from 10:00a.m. until the funeral service of 11:00a.m.  Kelly Russell will officiate and interment will follow in the Garden of Peace.
