Caroline Davis Smith

March 19, 1970 – April 28, 2023

Caroline Davis Smith, a resident of Bogalusa, LA passed away at St. Tammany Hospital in Covington, LA, on April 28, 2023, at the age of 53.

Caroline is survived by her mother, Alene Woodard Davis; two daughters, "Ashley" and Dustin Cothern of Bogalusa, LA, and "Sarah" and Dimitry Perminov of Panama City, FL; grandchildren, Hallie Verlander, Callie Davis, Coralyn Cothern, Gage Dillon, Yelana Perminova; a great grandchild, Camden Verlander; and nieces, Cassie Davis, Lauren (Manuel) Ramos, and Abby Creel.

Caroline was preceded in death by her father, Archie Davis; a sister, Cindy Davis; a nephew, Michael Blackwell; her husband, Mark Smith; and a daughter, Courtney Davis.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until the service time of 2:00 p.m. at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Ponemah Cemetery. The Rev. Scott Breland will officiate the service and Dustin Cothern, Alex Breland, Kenny Powe, Mike Freeman, Jonathan McKenzie, and Jordan Perry will serve as pallbearers.
