With great sadness we announce the passing of Brooke Elizabeth Applewhite age 31 of Bogalusa, LA. She passed away on October 13, 2020, born June 1, 1989, to Jeffery Dewayne Freeman and Emily Elaine Applewhite Freeman.

Brooke is survived by two children, daughter Emileigh Reign Applewhite, son Kainon Cash Murray, two sisters Ella Perry and Misty Martin, brother Jonathan Corkern, grandmother Mildred Freeman, grandfather Jerry Dixon, step-mother Danise Dantin Freeman, one uncle Scott Edward (Connie) Freeman, one aunt Melissa (Bart) Pierce, cousins Todd (Jennifer) Applewhite and Kristian Stoker, niece Adlyn Adams, two nephews Jastin Miley and Tayton Corkern, special friend Sherry Miley, and companion Blane Murray.

She was preceded in death by both of her parents Jeffery Dewayne Freeman and Emily Elaine Applewhite Freeman, grandparents Edward Earl Freeman, Tim and Betty Applewhite, and an uncle Tim Allen Applewhite.

She will be sadly missed by family and numerous friends.

Services celebrating Brooke's life will be held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home & Crematory in Bogalusa, LA on Sunday, October 18, 2020. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. and continue until funeral service begins at 1:00 p.m. Rev. Patrick Magee will officiate.
