Obituary

Brian Keith Creel was born on August 28, 1963, in Bogalusa, LA. He passed away in his home in Sun, LA on September 14, 2022, at the age of 59. He is survived by his wife of 41 years Wanda Creel, daughter Samantha (LJ) Daigle, and two granddaughters Maddison and Riley Daigle. He was preceded in death by his parents, Catherine Kuhn Sharp and Julius "Dick" Creel, and his grandparents, Barney and Ruth Kuhn and Albert and Lula Creel.
Brian loved his titles as husband and father, but nothing brought him greater joy than being called PawPaw by his lovey dove (Maddison) and sugar booger (Riley). He was a man of family and faith and will be missed by many loved ones and friends, as well as his little dog Skeeter, his loyal companion of 14 years.
Visitation will be held at Poole-Ritchie funeral home on Tuesday, September 20, 2022, from 4pm to 5pm for family and 5pm to 9pm for friends. Visitation will continue Wednesday, September 21, 2022, from 9am to time of service at 11am with Bros. Charles Creel and Rusty Kuhn officiating. Interment to follow at Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church cemetery.
