It is with profound sorrow that the loving family of Brandon Dewitt Readlinger, born September 27, 1979, announces that he passed away suddenly on Sunday, June 5, 2022, at the age of 42.  He lived, worked, and relaxed at his home on the river in Madisonville, Louisiana.

Brandon is survived by his mother, Beverly B. Readlinger; his brother, Chad (Bridgette) Readlinger; an uncle, Melvin Earl Brady; one niece, Kennedy; and two nephews, Tyler, and Cayden.  He is also survived by his stepmother, Kimberly McKenzie Readlinger and her son, Jacob.  Brandon was preceded in death by his father, Elvis D. "Buddy" Readlinger.

Brandon was born in Slidell, Louisiana but was raised in Bogalusa, LA from the age of 3.  He graduated from Bogalusa High School in 1997 as the Salutatorian of his class.  He went on to obtain a bachelor's degree in accounting, and an MBA from Southeastern Louisiana University.  He also obtained numerous professional certifications in his chosen field of work in computer software development.  He was a dedicated and loyal leader, having spent 13 years in increasing roles of responsibility at Cyrious Software, and then last 6 years with CoreBridge, most recently serving as their Chief Operating Officer.

One of the best things about Brandon was that he was a great friend to many.  He had this way about him, where many friends and family would seek his guidance and advice.  He was a caring and active listener, would provide honest feedback, and would help resolve any issue someone may have.  He had a brilliant mind, was considered the go to guy, and possessed a high level of emotional intelligence.  He loved a great action movie, had an interest in all things electronic, and loved his family and friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday, June 9, 2022, at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home from 12:00 P.M. until time of service.  Service will commence at 2:00 P.M., Pastor Chad Jenkins officiating, interment to follow at Ponemah Cemetery.
