Bonnie B. Stupka, 86, a resident of Baton Rouge and former resident of Bogalusa, passed away on April 6, 2025, in Baton Rouge.  Born on June 9, 1938, in Fernwood, MS, to Bart S. Bynum and Lillian C. Bynum, she was one of nine children.  She was a devoted wife to the late Colonel Michael B. Stupka for 61 years until he passed away in 2019.

She is survived by her daughters, MaryBeth of Baton Rouge and Michele of Colorado, her brother Howard Bynum of Bogalusa, and her sister-in-law Frankie Stupka.

Bonnie is preceded in death by her husband, Colonel Michael B. Stupka; her parents, Bart and Lillian Bynum; and seven siblings.

A service to celebrate her life will be held on Monday, April 14, 2025, at Annunciation Catholic Church at 10:30 am. Visitation will begin that morning at 9:30 am before the service.  Father Angel Diaz will officiate the service, and entombment will follow at Ponemah Cemetery at the Stupka family mausoleum.
