Bobbie Delores Wilson Burdeaux, 81, passed away peacefully with loved ones at her bedside on June 14, 2023, in Summit, MS.  She was a longtime resident of Bogalusa, and a faithful member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.

Bobbie leaves behind her three children: Robert (Shonda) Burdeaux, Jr., Randy (Rebecca) Burdeaux, Renée (Jason) Burdeaux-Goings; five grandchildren: Christie, Benjamin (Angelica), Cain, Joshua, Sasha; three "granddogs" Ricky, Todd, and Paisley; along with extended family and friends who will miss her gentle nature and beautiful smile.

She is preceded in death by her father, Robert Wilson; mother, Stella Wilson; and her loving husband who she is now reunited with, Robert Burdeaux, Sr.

Visitation will be held Saturday, June 17, 2023, from 11am-2pm at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, with services to follow beginning at 2pm with Rev. Dennis Allen officiating.

Pallbearers are Cain Burdeaux, Benjamin Burdeaux, Joshua Burdeaux, Pete Stewart, Joey Thompson, and Glen Holston. Honorary Pallbearer is her very special great-nephew who she loved dearly, Patrick Scherer.

The family would like to express their gratitude to Deaconess Hospice of Brookhaven, MS, and especially to Bobbie's nurse, Krystal Fortenberry, for her compassion and care during their mother's last days.
