Mr. Billy Ray Rester went to be with our Lord on September 5, 2021 at the age of 79. Mr. Rester was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and was retired from the Bogalusa Paper Mill.

Mr. Rester was preceded in death by his parents Mr. and Mrs. Van Buren Rester, two sons Darryl Rester and Billy Ray Rester Jr., and one grandson Billy Ray Rester III.

He leaves behind his wife Sandra Graham Rester; one sister Shan Crain; one brother Van Rester; three granddaughters Leslie Piazza, Ashley Graham, and Courtney Graham; and two grandsons Ethan Rester and Michael Graham.  Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at Zion Lutheran Church from 1:00 P.M. until time for the services at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Joe Alford officiating.  Interment to follow at Ponemah Cemetery.
