Betty Faye McClendon, a resident of Bogalusa, LA passed away on Friday, December 8, 2023, at the age of 95.

Betty is survived by her granddaughter, Donna (Darrell) LaSalle of Franklinton, LA; grandsons, Josh McClendon and Jodi (Suzie) Pittman both of Bogalusa, LA and Richard Pittman of Mobile, AL; her great grandchildren, Kore, Kloie, Ian, Erin, Mallorie, Seth, Jackson, Jasper, Madison, and Chandler; great great grandchildren, Karsyn, Adalee, and Colt; and a daughter in law, Sharon (Gary) McClendon of Bogalusa, LA; a son in law, David Pittman; and a sister-in-law, Gwen Bond of Houston, TX.   She is also survived by her best friend that was like a sister to her, Rose Conerly and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, W.H. "Dee" McClendon; son, Greg McClendon; daughter, Sherri Pittman; grandchildren, Michael McClendon and Leigh Ann Ladner; a great great granddaughter, Kambree Altentaler; her sister, Billie Wilbanks; and her brother, Wayne Bond.

Visitation will be held Friday, December 15, 2023, at Poole- Ritchie Funeral Home from 9:30 A.M. until time for the service at 11:30 A.M. with Father Angel Diaz Perez officiating the service.  Interment to follow at Ponemah Cemetery.

Betty's family would like to thank the staff of both Heritage Manor Nursing Home and St. Joseph's Hospice for the love and care shown for Betty.
