Mrs. Betty Jean Hamilton a native and long-time resident of Bogalusa, LA passed away Friday morning, March 4, 2022, at Our Lady of the Angels Hospital at the age of 84.  She was a member of United Church of God in Laurel, MS.

Mrs. Betty is survived by her children, Kathy McDaniel of Decatur, AL; Sheri (Jason) McDaniel Pierce of Bogalusa, LA; and Craig (Vicki) Hamilton of Pineville, LA.  She is also survived by her grandchildren, Aaron McDaniel of Decatur, AL, Chris Lang of Pineville, LA, and Kelli Lang Pacillo of Kolin, LA; her great grandchildren, Colton Lang of Pineville, LA, Wyatt Pacillo of Kolin, LA, and Kaitlyn Pacillo of Kolin, LA; a brother, Earl Hamilton of Melbourne, FL; a sister, Sandra Hamilton of Winter Springs, FL; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Betty was preceded in death by her mother Marjorie Hamilton and her father Earl Samuel Hamilton.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, March 8, 2022, from 9:00 A.M. until time for the services at 11:00 A.M. at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home with Elder Greg Musgrove officiating.  Interment to follow at Hillview Memorial Gardens.
