Bettie Ruth Travis, age 91, was born on April 5, 1934, in Citronelle, AL passed away on August 4, 2025, at Lakeview Regional Hospital in Covington, LA.

Bettie was preceded in death by her husband Claiborne L. Travis; her parents Henry Howard Davis and Ruth Thomas Davis; 2 daughters Tonita Lynn Travis and Edwina Maria Travis; 3 sisters and brother-in-law's Juanita Guillot (Clarence), Mary Elizabeth Kennedy (James), Debbie Huntress (Basil).

Bettie is survived by her two sons Tony Travis (Shawn), and Dennis Travis; siblings Mack Howard Davis and the late Lynn Davis, Helen Kemp and the late Wayne Kemp, Bill "W.W." Davis (Jan), and Pat Strain (Frank); grandchildren Daniel Clay Travis (Ashley), Amber Maria Travis, Natalie Irizarry (Kalob), Victoria "Tori" Travis (Thomas Jones), Cameron Danos and Josh Danos; great grandchildren Adelyne, Ayla, Cohen, Olivia, and Baker.

Visitation will be held at Palestine Baptist Church on Saturday, August 9, 2025, from 10:00a.m. until the service time of 1:00p.m.  Interment will immediately follow in Palestine Baptist Church cemetery.
