Bertha Mae Miley Moody, 92, resident of Bogalusa, LA, passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at Heritage Manor in Franklinton, LA. She was loving mother, wife, grandmother (Granny), and friend.  She was a lifelong member of First Pentecostal Church in Bogalusa, LA and she enjoyed her hobbies of cooking, sewing, crocheting, and loving her family.

Bertha is survived by her husband of 74 years, Clyde W. Moody, Sr.; two children Charlotte (Mike) Fasola and Clyde (Pam) Moody, Jr. all of Bogalusa, LA; three sisters Josie Wolfshol of Henleyfield, MS; Betty Jo Saba and Bobbie J. Miley  both of Bogalusa, LA; five grandchildren Angel (Shea) Knight, Blake (Heather) Fasola, Amber Fasola (Jerry) Guillot, Megan Moody (Rayne) Granger, Trey (Kristin) Moody; nine great grandchildren Will Moody, Anthony Moody, Grey Fasola, Jordan Fasola, Jadon Fasola, Grace Knight, Alyssa Knight, Chance  Granger, and Abby Breshears; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents Joe and Della Miley, and her sister Lucille Corbello.

Visitation will be held Monday, March 21, 2022 from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm at First Pentecostal Church of Bogalusa, 14532 LA-21, Bogalusa, LA 70427 and will resume Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at 10:00 am until time for the funeral service at 11:00 am at the church.  Rev. Travis Houston and Rev. Kevin Cox will officiate and interment will follow at Lon Miley Cemetery in Bogalusa, LA.  Pallbearers will be Shea Knight, Blake Fasola, Trey Moody, Duane Fuller, Raymond Williams, and David Wilson.
