Benny Joe Hathorne Jr. age 62, born on October 13, 1958 in Bogalusa , La. , passed away Monday March 01, 2021 at his residence in Bogalusa, La.

Benny was a jack of all trades, but truly enjoyed his last trade as a locksmith . He was a loving father and had the most wonderful sense of humor.

He is survived by his two daughters, Amy Hathorne( Linzie) Scott and Marie Burnthorn, their mother Teena Pittman; six grandchildren, Clayton (Carsen) Burnthorn, Jazlyn ( Justin) Harris, Kyra Hathorne, Kayne Netto, Jaylon Scott and Shy Hathorne; two great-grandchildren; Brynn and Branson Burnthorn; his five sisters; Reanette Thomas, Beverly Magee, Melinda Bickham, Rebecca Knight and Connie Miller.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bennie Joe Hathorne Sr. and Delores Hathorne.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home & Crematory.
