Algy Guy Curtis, Jr. a lifelong Bogalusa, LA resident died January 9, 2022, at the age of 84. Mr. Curtis was born on May 18, 1936, to Algy and Velma Curtis, Sr.

Mr. Curtis served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War as a paratrooper and transport officer. He spent 6 years serving his country and was honorably discharged after an automobile accident. He worked many years as an insurance salesman.

He is preceded in death by his wife Anne Curtis, mother Velma Curtis, father Algy Curtis, Sr. and sisters Nancy and Jean.

Mr. Curtis is survived by his son, Stephen McCarroll, granddaughter Christen Kubricht, their spouses, his grandson Nicholas, and great granddaughters Lily Anne and Paige Elizabeth.
