Acy Hartfield, age 82, a resident of Bogalusa, LA, born on April 8, 1939 in Bogalusa, LA, passed away on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at St. Tammany Parish Hospital. He was an Educator for 30 years, and he did Heart Study for 20 years in Bogalusa, LA, Washington Parish.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Thomas Hartfield of Bogalusa, LA; his son, Acy (Tara) Hartfield of Bogalusa, LA; a sister, Janel Hartfield Stogner of Atlanta, GA; four grandchildren, Austin, Anderson, Alex, and Ana Cate Hartfield.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Louie C. Hartfield, Sr., and Elsie Margarita Holden Hartfield; a sister, Gloria Hartfield Simmons; and a brother, Louie C. Hartfield, Jr.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 16, 2021 at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 P.M. Funeral Services will begin at 2:00 P.M.  at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tommy Hudnall and Rev. Duane Ball officiating. Interment to follow at Ponemah Cemetery.
